Between 1998 and 2008, Nuno Viegas and I dedicated our time and efforts intensely to the B.Side project. We created a clothing brand that developed products related to surf and skate, an extension of our passion for surfing and our personal expression.

During those years, we faced numerous challenges, from creating original designs to producing and distributing products in selected locations from north to south of Portugal and some points in Spain, Austria, among others.

Each obstacle was a learning opportunity, both about ourselves and about the national surf and skate industry.

At a time when social media and all the online marketing tools available today did not yet exist, we needed to constantly adapt, innovate, and meet the needs of our customers and the ever-changing and growing market.

In addition, we had the opportunity to work with other talented artists and designers and collaborate on exciting projects. These experiences taught us the importance of collaboration and teamwork in pursuing a common goal.

In 2008, we decided to end the project and each follow different professional paths.

Today, although our careers have taken different paths, our friendship is stronger than ever, and surfing still exerts a great influence on our lives.

Personally, the memories I have of the B.Side project continue to inspire my work and creativity to this day, and surfing remains a passion that will never cease to influence and motivate me!
